Madrid, Toledo, Algarve and Sevilla - Goodbye 2015!

I’ve had rough years and I’ve blogged about them. But 2015? It was AMAZING. Maybe not the first few months...but in May things started to change. I graduated as a Nutritionist, found my first “real job” and got my first car. My life as a student was over and I could not have been more happy about it. I had time to enjoy my evenings and weekends, and enough money to splurge a bit (I bought my skiing equipment!!!).

To end such an amazing year, le boyfriend and I traveled to Madrid to spend the holidays with my family. We did a short roadtrip to the south of Portugal and to Sevilla in Spain. Despite some cancelled flights and delays, we had a GREAT time and I can’t wait to see my family again.

Now I’ll stop talking and let you enjoy some (a lot) pictures of our trip!

  1. Hello! Or as we say here, "Olá"!
It feels great to know that people come to my country and appreciate it. You should come back to visit Lisbon and Porto, maybe Coimbra too, my town & district of Leiria, the region around Douro river and the hills/national park at Gerês, historic Évora and the coast in Alentejo, the archipelagos of Madeira and Azores... not to mention all the small villages and great scenery in between!! And the food... oh my, the food! ;)
Happy New Year! Greetings from Portugal!
